NONTOX project participated on January 29th, 2021 to H2020 projects online workshop: “Innovative methods to remove hazardous substances and contaminants from secondary raw materials for the circular economy” organised by EASME. Other projects in the event were CIRCULAR FLOORING, CREAToR, PLAST2bCLEANED, REMADYL, REACT and PureNano. Totally almost 160 participants attended the workshop. NONTOX project coordinator presented objectives of the project and the key actions of the synergies that have been taken place with other projects. Discussions around the concrete policy gaps and regulatory challenges identified in the projects was also part of the workshop. EASME encouraged projects involved in the workshop to plan concretely next steps in their collaborations. In addition, joint dissemination and communication activities are also possible and EASME will be helping the projects by creating links between the action parties such as policy-makers and relevant stakeholders.
