During the Horizon Result Booster activities, NONTOX elaborated a Policy Brief report as part of our joint collaboration together with the H2020 projects Circular Flooring, CREAToR, REACT and PLAST2bCLEANED.
The current policy frame for plastics recycling have been analyzed and a series of recommendations propose. The document showcases to policymakers and to key decision-makers “An EU Joint Approach to Recycling and Eco-design: Enabling the transition to the circular economy with advanced eco innovation technologies, processes, products and services and services”. This Policy Brief is an opportunity to show how these five projects are contributing to EC policy priorities in terms of reducing the environmental footprint of plastics and other waste products, thereby increasing the use of more sustainable materials.
